I know everyone is always looking for ways to help the environment...how about a bag made out of plastic bags? Nikki 8 Knits has created a knitted bag out of used plastic market bags. Such a cool idea! Nikki cuts up the plastic bags and uses them as yarn to knit her creations. Good job Nikki! Check out her shop for other great handknits.

WOW! What a great idea!!! I wonder if she needs plastic bag donations? I have too many...I always forget my canvas totes when I go to the grocery. :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for the offer Sadee, but I always seem to find enough plastic bags! There are lots of other uses for the old bags though... second hand stores like Goodwill will almost always take them! Or list them on Freecycle for other crafters to find!
